MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF ANIMALS
At OHS, animal care, support, and leadership roles are filled by volunteers that dedicate hundreds of hours annually to enable and support a variety of programs and services that aid the animals and our community.
There are many opportunities to make a difference at OHS whether you want to help with the rehabilitation of wildlife, join the pet therapy team, volunteer with our Pet Meals-On-Wheels program, help with OHS administrative duties, or help staff the OHS booth at one of our events.

ANIMAL THERAPY
Interested in sharing your loving animal with those in need? Do you have an especially well-socialized animal companion who loves to interact with people? Become a volunteer therapy animal team—together, you and your companion animal can make a difference!
WILDLIFE REHABILITATION
Would you like to help us care for injured and orphaned urban wildlife? We are looking for volunteers! The WRC is supported by volunteers, memberships and community donations. Our work is seasonal so all volunteering is between the months of April to September.
