2022 AWARDS

2022 GREATER GOOD FELINE FOSTER HEROES TOP 10 FINALIST

Cindy Potter, our Foster Program Manager, was a top 10 finalist in the Greater Good Feline Foster Contest and recognized as someone who goes above and beyond saving the lives of cats in need. In 2019, the program had 49 kittens adopted to forever loving homes. In 2020, 335 kittens and friendly mamas.

2022 CALIFORNIA STATE ASSEMBLY CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION

Assemblymember Alex Lee of Assembly District 25 presented the 2022 Certificate of Recognition to Ohlone Humane Society in celebration of the Pet-Meals-On-Wheels Pet Pantry grand opening with special appreciation for their dedicated efforts in our community advocating for all creatures and inspiring respect and compassion for animals.

2021 AWARDS

2021 ALAMEDA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS COMMENDATION

Richard Valle, Supervision Second District, presented Ohlone Humane Society with a Certificate of Recognition. The County of Alameda, does hereby proudly commend the Ohlone Humane Society for their endless dedication to doing what’s right by animals, domesticated or wild, and advocating for those without a voice.

2021 UNSUNG HEROES AWARD

Assemblymember Alex Lee of Assembly District 25 presented the 2021 Unsung Heroes Award to Kathy Hamilton of Ohlone Humane Society for her work with the Pet-Meals-On-Wheels program.

2021 ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP AWARD

Angela Hartman of Ohlone Humane Society was a winner of Lam Research Corporation’s 2021 Environmental Stewardship Award for her leadership at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. Lam recognizes employees’ efforts to protect and preserve the environment outside of their work at Lam.

Assemblymember Kansen Chu of Assembly District 25 presented the 2020 Community Heroes Award to Cindy Potter (Kitten Fostering & Adoption) and Sandra Powell (Trap-Neuter-Return) of Ohlone Humane Society who volunteered their time to make the community a better place.
